Australian Piano Warehouse, part of the Dale Cleves Music Group — one of Australia's most established musical instrument retail groups (Billy Hyde Music, Kosmic, Winston Music and Dale Cleves Music) — is looking for an enthusiastic junior salesperson to join our Brisbane team on a casual basis.

This is a genuine opportunity to learn the craft of piano and keyboard sales from the ground up, working alongside experienced consultants, with a clear path to grow into a specialist piano sales role.

You will support the showroom floor and develop into a confident salesperson. From time to time this role may involve working at an alternative location.

About you

  • A warm, professional manner and a genuine interest in helping people.
  • Eager to learn — no sales experience required, we will train the right person.
  • Reliable, well presented and a strong team player.
  • An interest in music or pianos is a plus.
  • Fluency in Mandarin is highly regarded, as we regularly assist Mandarin-speaking customers.
  • Ability to work weekends, evenings, and flexible hours as needed.

The role

  • Deliver friendly, professional customer service — on the floor and over the phone.
  • Help customers find the right instrument, and follow up on sales enquiries.
  • Process sales, web orders and invoicing.
  • Keep the showroom looking its best — merchandising, cleaning and polishing instruments.
  • Support the receiving and processing of stock.
  • Assist with stocktakes and general store administration.
  • From time to time this role may involve working at an alternative location.
